LOYAL Program
The LOYAL (Linking Oklahoma’s Young Adult Leaders) program is a short-format skills-based program intended for young adults just beginning their community service careers. This eight-month program includes a one-day opening retreat.
LOYAL focuses on skills that are useful in community service activities such as serving on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization. Opening and Closing Retreat sessions center around personal leadership skills, and the remaining class sessions, which will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., address community leadership skills.

LOYAL Action Projects
In addition, LOYAL class members break into five or more groups and complete short community projects submitted by local nonprofit organizations. The projects, known as LAPs (LOYAL Action Projects), provide class members with hands-on experience in diverse teams of volunteers.
Community Organizations are solicited for project proposals in July and August of each year.
