Diversity, equity & inclusion | Paycom

A.J. Dronkers heads Paycom’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) program. In this role, he and his team maintain a DEI strategy for Paycom’s 6,000+ growing employees. This includes the DEI governance, growing and maturing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), listening sessions, DEI training, process improvement to talent management, compliance, and management of benefits and policies. He previously worked on a DEI team that supported over 30,000 global employees and is most proud of launching an award-winning digital magazine and podcast. He has extensive experience in designing and delivering multiyear change management and strategic communications campaigns. Major influences in his personal journey are hearing stories form his father and grandparents who immigrated from Indonesia, as well as his own experience being queer. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him leafing through his collection of cookbooks, antiquing, perusing a nearby farmers market or eatery, and cycling.

 

Russ Florence

Russ Florence is partner, president, and chief executive officer at Schnake Turnbo Frank, based in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. Russ brings a broad range of communication and management experience to the firm. With experience in journalism, corporate leadership and consulting, he brings a multi-faceted, balanced perspective to his clients. His expertise includes strategic planning, executive coaching, reputation management, crisis communications, media relations and integrated communications. Russ joined Schnake Turnbo Frank in 2001, and became a partner in 2007. He maintains a key role in leading the company’s strategic growth and external affairs. Before joining the firm, Russ managed corporate communications for the BOK Financial Corporation. He relies on every facet of his experience – journalism, nonprofit, corporate and entrepreneurism – in his work today. Russ is a frequent speaker to universities, professional associations and business groups.

 

Amber Remke

Corporate Communications Manager | ONE Gas

Amber Remke, APR, is a corporate communications manager at ONE Gas, Inc., which provides natural gas distribution services to more than 2.3 million customers in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. She helps lead employee-focused communications, including support of the company’s inclusion and diversity efforts. Amber has more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, most recently at WPX Energy and The University of Tulsa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Tulsa and a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University.

 

Christopher M. Staine

Christopher Staine is a director and the Vice President of Administration in the firm’s Dallas office. He is an experienced litigator that represents individuals and companies in a wide range of commercial disputes in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts throughout the country. Christopher focuses his litigation practice in the areas of commercial, bankruptcy, banking, creditor’s rights, and oil and gas litigation. He prides himself on bringing a balanced and pragmatic approach to every matter to create value for his clients, both inside and outside the courtroom. A champion of diversity and inclusion, Christopher serves as chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and is actively involved in many of the firm’s diversity initiatives at the national and local levels. Active in the community, Christopher is an advisory board member for Together We Thrive, a Texas based nonprofit organization that walks beside at-risk, homeless youth across North Texas to help them rewrite their futures and replace labels of loneliness and hopelessness with community and opportunity.
